Dollar Academy
What it's like
Founded in 1818 as a co-educational school, it occupies a beautiful and extensive campus at the foot of the Ochil Hills in central Scotland, within easy reach of both Edinburgh and Glasgow. The school is non-denominational. It prides itself on its outstanding achievements in many areas: academic, sporting and cultural. Expectations are high and pupils flourish in a supportive environment of enthusiasm, commitment, ambition and enjoyment. Firmly grounded in the values of Scottish education, it takes a deliberately international approach, and the diverse boarding community is at the heart of school life.
